UAE launches UN Panel Series on Trends in Women, Peace, Security

The United Arab Emirates launched a high-level panel series on the women, peace, and security agenda to contribute to the global study on the past 15 years of implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1325. As Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, UAE Permanent Representative to the UN, put it: “We hope the process will support the Global Study and contribute to the pool of knowledge on this important issue.”
